Myrtle Creek Cruise

Start and finish the Myrtle Creek Cruise at the Millsite Park parking lot in downtown Myrtle Creek. Restrooms are available right there at the park. Fill up your water bottles as there are no opportunities to replenish along the route. After a short leg through town, you begin a gentle ride through South Myrtle Creek valley with frequent creek views and into the forest towards the end, with very low traffic. You choose how far you want to ride because this is an out-and-back route. If you go to the end of the county road and then return to the start, you cover about 35 miles with only gradual climbs on the way. If you want more of a challenge, continue up the very steep 5-mile climb on the forest road to the pond at the top.
